Warriors Fire and Ice-Erin Hunter

This book is about a cat named Fireheart. There are four clans called Thunder clan, River clan, Wind clan, Shadow clan, and Star clan. Fireheart is in the Thunder clan with his friend named Graystripe. In this book, they rescue the Wind clan and help them find their way home. The deputy of the Thunder clan, Tigerclaw, seems mistrustful because Fireheart feels that he may have murdered another cat. Bluestar, the Thunder clan leader, trusts Tigerclaw so she refuses to listen to Fireheart. Also, Graystripe falls in love with a River clan warrior named Silverstream. Fireheart is worried that Graystripe may ruin his loyalty to the Thunder clan because he is visiting her. I think this is a great book for girls and boys. I like it because the book engages you in the story so you don’t want to stop reading it. I encourage you to read Warriors Fire and Ice.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – J.K. Rowling

The story I read was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This book is about a boy named Harry who is a wizard at Hogwarts. It is his second year, and while he is at Hogwarts, he starts hearing strange things. While he is at a dueling club, he accidently sets a snake on a boy, so everyone starts thinking that he is the heir of Salazar Slytherin, founder of Slytherin House. Also, while he is there, people and animals start to get petrified by a strange animal. I think that this book would appeal to both girls and boys equally and I recommend you read it right away.

Most of her class didn’t even know their times two tables. There is a mean head mistress that does unbelievable things to the students. It’s so nasty that the parents wouldn’t believe it. Matilda comes face to face with the head mistress. What will happen to Matilda? Will she move away from her parents? You’ll have to read this book to find out. This book would appeal to girls a little bit more than boys. If you disagree, PLEASE let me know.

Mary -Kate and Ashley Starring You And Me by: Melissa Senate

This is a great story I just finished reading. It is about these two girls named Mary -Kate and Ashley. During their summer they met these two people named Brian and Penny. They met Brian and Penny at a music fest during their summer. The twins live in Los Angeles. Brian and penny live in Seattle. One day Ashley saw them in Los Angeles is it really them? So Ashley went to her sister and told her who she saw. So they went and checked who it was and it was Brian and Penny! So they asked what they were doing there and Brian said that they were there because they got a call that their music C. D. that was called Starring You And Me was not getting sold. Brian said it wasn’t being sold because the music company was not advertising it. Mary- Kate and Ashley had an idea to advertise it themselves.
Will they be able to advertise it themselves or not? You will have to read this amazing book called Mary Kate and Ashley starring you and me. I would recommend this book to more girls than boys. Please read my blog and encourage others to read it too. Thanks for your time! Please make comments.

Dread Locks-Neal Shusterman

When Parker Baer meets an interesting girl with long, glimmering spirals of golden hair that look like snakes named Tara, strange things start happening at his school. Tara’s new “friends” develop strange new habits like eating dirt, drinking a lot of milk, and becoming very dull and boring. Parker gets sucked into Tara’s world and gets turned into the thing that Tara has been for many years. This wild thriller makes you want to keep reading and reading, and also keeps you awake at night! I think both boys and girls will like this book and I really recommend it. To say more about the story would spoil the spooky fun. So let the twist unravel itself and leave you as still as a statue.

Cassie Was Here- Caroline Hickey

Bree is an abnormal 11 year old because she has an imaginary friend.   In this book, Bree decides that she wants to be like Cassie, a 13 year old who got kicked out of Boarding School.  Cassie thinks that she is cool and convinces Bree to do some things that are “cool”. Bree thinks that to be “cool” she can’t have an imaginary friend.  I think that girls would like this book.  It is a very good story for girls in fourth and fith grade.

Gathering Blue – Lois Lowry

This story is about a girl named Kira who lives in a village. One of Kira’s legs is deformed so she can’t walk. Pretty soon her mom dies and she must go to the council of elders to see if she can stay in the village or die. Her village does not use years to determine how old they are instead they use syllables. Kira’s best friend was Matt. Matt as you can see is one syllable old.

I think this book is good for girls and boys. Its storyline isn’t as hard to follow as the Giver’s storyline . I would give this book 7.3 out of ten as ten being great and one being not so good. Thank you for reading my blog. Have a nice day!

Who’s Afraid of Fourth Grade

This is a great story I just read about a girl named Katie who got separated from her best friend in fourth grade. Her best friend Suzanne got a nice teacher; Mrs. Sweet and Katie got stuck with a new teacher Mr. Guthrie. He was a weird teacher he didn’t have desks in his room he had beanbags in stead. He wanted them to be birds because they were going to learn about birds. Suzanne stopped playing with Katie and started playing with Jessica instead. So, Katie stared to play with Emma W. Jessica’s best friend. Katie was not really a normal girl she sometimes had these not normal whirlwinds that turned her in to different people or animals like once when she was in third grade she got turned in to the class pet, a guinea pig. Well if you want to know who Katie turns into in fourth grade read Who’s Afraid Of Fourth Grade.
I would love it if you tell me your opinions!!!
