Matilda- Ronald Dahl

Matilda is a book that would inspire anyone. It’s a story where she has a special power. Her parents think she’s just another bug on their television set. Matilda loves to read, but her parents just want her to go away. She is a real genius for her age. When Matilda finally goes to school, she already knows how to multiply one number by the other. Most of her class didn’t even know their times two tables. There is a mean head mistress that does unbelievable things to the students. It’s so nasty that the parents wouldn’t believe it. Matilda comes face to face with the head mistress. What will happen to Matilda? Will she move away from her parents? You’ll have to read this book to find out. This book would appeal to girls a little bit more than boys. If you disagree, PLEASE let me know.

I Don’t think that this book would appeal to girls more than boys, just because the main character is a girl. It would appeal to both boys and girls the same because this girl has magnificent powers.
