The Cheetah Girls Book 2 – Deborah Gregory
This book has four books in one. It is books 5-8, so don’t read it if you haven’t read books 1-4. The Cheetah Girls are flying from New York to Los Angeles. They are going to sing in a showcase, and if the judges really like them they get a record deal. Before the show, they go shopping. Galleria Garibaldi (the leader of the Cheetah Girls) sees a dog collar that would look great on Toto. Toto is a poodle and is closer to the family than the ingredients in a cake. When it is their turn to sing, they burst into Wanna-be Stars in the Jiggy Jungle. The only thing is there is no winners or losers. You get a record deal if you are good enough. The Cheetah Girls found out it might take a while before they find out if they are getting a record deal or not. When they fly back to New York, they still know nothing. If they are going to here something about getting a record deal, it will be from Def Duck Records. Galleria, Chanel, and Dorinda are all Cheetah Girls and all go to Fashion Industries High. Aquenette and Angenette go to Performing Arts High. The next day at Fashion Industries High, Dorinda and Chanel are waiting for Galleria to show up. When she finally does, She’s wearing the dog collar she had bought for Toto. Meanwhile, Chanel’s mom is dating Chanel’s teacher. Dorinda has a real sister instead of just foster sisters. When she finally meats her, she is nothing like she imagined. She ends up looking nothing like her! During Thanksgiving, Aqua and Angie go to Houston. They stay with their mom and grandma. The downside is that their uncle has gone missing! The Cheetah Girls perform one last time in the book. This time, they perform in Houston. This book would attract more to girls for sure.
