Time Cat – Lloyd Alexander
This book is about a young cat named Gareth. He is no ordinary cat. He can talk. That is not all. He can also go to wherever, whenever. He takes his owner, Jason, on nine fantastic journeys. First, he takes him to Egypt in 2700 B.C. Egyptians LOVE cats. It ends up that Gareth almost gets taken away. Then, he takes him to Rome and Britain in 55 B.C. Then Ireland in 411 B.C. After that, they go to Japan in 998 A.D. Then, they go to Italy in 1468. A little bit later, they go to Peru in 1555. After that, he takes him to The Isle of the Man in 1588. Later on, they go to Germany in 1600. Lastly, they go to America in 1775. I’ll give you a hint about the book. Every adventure something goes wrong. Every wrong thing has Gareth involved. Both girls and boys would like this book, but it is not the most fast paced book.
