Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants – Dav Pilkey
This book starts out with a Professor named Pippy P. (pee-pee) Poopypants. He is a genius but has a silly name, and no one respects him. He gets a job at George and Harold’s school as a science teacher but the kids laugh at him. He gets very angry and creates 3 things: The Gerbil Jogger 2000, the Goosy Grow 4000, and the Shrinky Pig 2000. He uses those machines to get some respect and revenge on all the people that made fun of him. He also creates the name change-o-chart 2000. So everybody has a silly funny name like him. Can George, Harold, and the Mighty Captain Underpants stop Professor Pippy P. Poopypants? Find out by reading this book. I think this book would appeal to mostly boys because it has a lot of potty humor.
